Peta ((ギリシア語:Πέτα)) is a town and a former municipality in the Arta regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Nikolaos Skoufas, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit.〔(Kallikratis law ) Greece Ministry of Interior 〕 Population 4,904 (2001). In 2001 its population was 1,916 for the town, 3,896 for the community and 4,904 for the municipal unit. Peta is located north of Amfilochia, northeast of Arta, south-southeast of Ioannina and east of Preveza.
